Company history/background
LA INDUSTRIA CARNICAS ES UNA SA, has been located in the Central Meat Market at Mercamadrid since 1999. The module in which it carries out its activity comprises more than 1,600 square meters, divided into a lower floor, mezzanine, first floor, and second floor.
The company has more than 680 clients, mainly:
- Communities
- Public tenders
- Restaurants
- Butcher shops
- Customer stores that are served at established delivery points and that purchase directly from our store
FACILITIES DESCRIPTION
The lower floor, measuring 800 square meters, comprises two receiving docks, a quality control room, and a corridor leading to the cutting and packaging area. From the docks, the goods are distributed via overhead conveyors to the four cold storage chambers on this floor (Beef, Pork, Poultry, and Finished Product), plus one chamber for Eggs and Egg Products.
At the end of the corridor is our shop where industry professionals are assisted by our team. On the mezzanine level, there is a fireproof room of approximately 50 square meters, where everything necessary for packaging and packing is stored.
Company activities
To the right, the first area we encounter is the recently expanded chicken cutting room, complete with its own finished product storage room. There's also a cheese room and a sausage room, as well as a production area equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and its own drying room, and a dough, brine, and finished product storage room where we manufacture our own branded products. Right next to it is the cleanroom for sliced products.
In case of any type of contingency, we have a rented warehouse for Conservation and Freezing next to our facilities in Mercamadrid itself.

Our team of professionals consists of 31 people in different departments; One of these departments is QUALITY, made up of 3 professionals, one on staff and two external.
Finally, on the top floor are the women's changing rooms, management offices and meeting rooms.
